Dynamic Analysis of Underwater Torpedo during Straight-Line Navigation

Torpedoes play an irreplaceable role in naval warfare; therefore, it is significant to study the dynamic response of direct navigation torpedoes. In order torpedoes under different Munk moment coefficients, equation established based on momentum theorem and theorem. The linear motion mathematical model obtained. relationship between torpedo coefficient derived. straight-line moments established, properties space are analyzed. It found that increase will lead deflection torpedo’s each degree freedom, related additional mass matrix. During design torpedo, added should be reduced by changing shape as much possible so reduce pitch moment, yaw, roll torpedo.
